Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chopped garlic. Sauté until golden brown.
3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
6. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and heat through briefly.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
