Kung Pao Chicken and Tofu

A delicious stir-fry featuring tender chicken and crispy tofu, tossed with peanuts and a spicy sauce. Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g chicken breast, sliced
- 100 g fried tofu, cubed
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 dl unsalted peanuts
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add sliced chicken and cook until fully cooked through.
3. Stir in minced garlic, sliced chili, and diced bell pepper, sautéing for a few minutes.
4. Gently add the fried tofu and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch, then pour into the pan. Stir to coat the ingredients evenly.
6. Toss in unsalted peanuts and chopped green onions, mixing thoroughly. Cook for a few more minutes until heated through.
7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
