Delicious and versatile French crepes that can be filled with a variety of sweet or savory fillings. Perfect for a taste of France in your own kitchen. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl all-purpose flour- 2 eggs
- 5 dl milk
- 1 tbsp sugar (for sweet fillings)
- 1/2 tsp salt (for savory fillings)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, and salt until the batter is smooth.2. Stir in the melted butter and mix well.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter.
4. Pour about 1/2 dl of the batter into the pan and tilt it to spread the batter into a thin layer.
5. Cook the crepe for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift from the pan and the bottom is golden brown.
6. Carefully flip the crepe and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
8. Fill with your choice of fillings, such as jam, chocolate sauce, or savory options like cheese and ham.
