A delightful combination of traditional Christmas tarts and cinnamon rolls! These delicious pastries are easy to make and are sure to please everyone. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 pastries
Ingredients:
- 1 package of ready-made pastry dough (e.g., puff pastry) - 1 dl tart jam (e.g., plum jam)
- 100 g butter
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 200 g quark
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Thaw the pastry dough according to the package instructions and roll it out into a thin sheet. 2. Spread the tart jam evenly over the dough.
3. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into pieces approximately 5 cm wide.
4. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar and cinnamon.
6. Add the quark and stir until smooth.
7. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg and spoon the quark mixture on top of each roll.
8. Bake in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 15-20 minutes, until the pastries are beautifully golden brown.
9. Let cool for a moment before serving.
