Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until well combined.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set.
6. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream for decoration.
