Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave. Let it cool slightly.
3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add the chocolate-butter mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is firm on the surface but still slightly moist in the center.
8. Let the cake cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream for decoration.
