A delicious lingonberry jam infused with cognac and cinnamon, perfect as a filling for pastries or as a condiment.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: About 1 liter
Ingredients:
- 1 liter lingonberries
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- ½ dl cognac (or brandy or whiskey)
- 2 dl water
- ½ kg jam sugar
Instructions:
1. Add the lingonberries and cinnamon stick to boiling water.
2. Boil for five minutes with the lid on.
3. Stir in the jam sugar and boil for another five minutes.
4. Remove the pot from heat and add the cognac.
5. Mix well and allow the jam to cool, stirring occasionally to evenly distribute the berries.
