A delicious pasta dish perfect for the whole family. Easy to make and loved by everyone. Preparation time is about 30 minutes and serves four.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or penne)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 150 g fresh spinach
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add the crushed garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Pour the crushed tomatoes into the skillet and add basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for a smoother consistency.
7. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
