Ingredients:

- 500 g fresh root vegetables (carrots, turnips, beets)
- 300 g cabbage
- 200 g potatoes
- 200 g apples
- 150 g Finnish cheese (e.g., Aura cheese)
- 100 g nuts (e.g., walnuts)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, thyme)

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the root vegetables and potatoes. Cook them by steaming or boiling in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until they are tender but still firm.
2. Shred the cabbage and sauté it in olive oil in a pan for about 5-10 minutes until soft.
3. Chop the apples and add them to the sautéed cabbage. Cook for a few more minutes.
4. Prepare the dressing by mixing honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
5. Combine the cooked root vegetables, cabbage-apple mixture, and nuts in a large bowl. Add the dressing and mix well.
6. Grate the cheese over the servings and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
