Ingredients:

- 400 g ground beef
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 1-2 jalapeños (to taste)
- 2 hamburger buns
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg lettuce)
- Tomatoes
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Salt
- Pepper

Instructions:

1. Shape the ground beef into two patties. Make an indentation in the center of each patty.
2. Cut the cheddar cheese into small pieces and chop the jalapeños. Place the cheese and jalapeños in the indentation of one patty.
3. Cover the indentation with the other patty and seal the edges well.
4. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
5. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
6. Toast the hamburger buns slightly in the skillet.
7. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, add the cooked patty, tomatoes, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Cover with the top half of the bun.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
