Serving Size: 4 burgers
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 100 g cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp Guinness beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns (e.g., brioche buns)
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg lettuce)
- Tomato slices
- Ketchup or mayonnaise (to taste)

1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, Guinness, salt, and black pepper. Knead the mixture until well combined. 2. Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a small indentation in the center of two of the patties.
3. Place cheese slices in the indentation and cover with the remaining patties. Press the edges firmly together to seal the cheese inside.
4. Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium heat. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through and the cheese is melted.
5. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the pan.
6. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom bun, add the cheese-stuffed patty, top with tomato slices, and your choice of sauce. Finish with the top bun.
