Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If the pasta is too dry, add a little reserved cooking water.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
