Ingredients
- 100 g butter or margarine - 2½ dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp water
Filling:
- 100 g diced ham
- ½ bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 100 g cheese (such as Emmental or mozzarella)
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan and let it cool slightly. 2. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and the cooled butter. Add water and knead the dough until smooth.
3. Press the dough into a greased pie dish, covering the bottom and sides.
4. Pre-bake the dough in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 10 minutes.
5. Prepare the filling by mixing the diced ham, chopped bell pepper, cheese, eggs, cream, and seasonings in a bowl.
6. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust.
7. Bake the pie in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
