Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for a moment until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown and tender.
4. Pour the cream over the mushrooms and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the mushroom-cream sauce. Add a little reserved cooking water if the mixture is too thick.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
