This delicious cabbage and cheese pie is a perfect savory snack or main dish. Its rich flavor and crispy crust make it a favorite among cabbage lovers.

Ingredients

Dough:
- 125 g butter
- 1½ dl all-purpose flour
- 1½ dl (105 g) potato flour
- ½ dl sour cream
Cabbage and Cheese Filling:
- 700 g cabbage
- 200 g cheese (e.g., cream cheese or Emmental)
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

1. Start by making the dough. Melt the butter and mix it with the all-purpose flour, potato flour, and sour cream. Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
2. Wash and finely chop the cabbage, peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the onion. Sauté the onion for a few minutes until it is soft.
3. Add the chopped cabbage to the onion and cook until the cabbage is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
4. In a bowl, mix the cabbage, onion, and cheese with the eggs. Stir until well combined.
5. Roll out the dough and spread it on the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Pour the filling over the dough.
6. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
