Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Slice the mushrooms.
4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
5. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
6. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a little reserved cooking water.
8. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
9. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
