Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp margarine
- 5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 5-7 dl milk
- 100 g grated Emmental cheese
- 250 g diced ham
- Salt to taste
- White pepper to taste
- Green pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Add the flour to the melted margarine and stir well until the mixture is smooth.
3. Gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring to prevent lumps from forming.
4. Heat the mixture until it thickens.
5. Stir in the grated Emmental cheese until it melts into the sauce.
6. Add the diced ham and season with salt, white pepper, and green pepper.
7. Let the sauce simmer for a moment to blend the flavors.
8. Serve the sauce warm over pasta or potatoes.
