A delightful treat perfect for any occasion. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12 buns
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 package of frozen sweet dough
- 2 tablespoons of almond flakes
Instructions:
1. Thaw the sweet dough according to package instructions.
2. Cut the thawed dough into four strips lengthwise.
3. Twist and tie two strips together into a ring or knot. You can also braid the strips into small strands.
4. Allow the buns to rise on a baking sheet covered with a cloth.
5. Brush the risen buns with the beaten egg and sprinkle almond flakes on top.
6. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes or until they are beautifully golden brown.
7. Let cool before serving.
