Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet with the shrimp and garlic butter, mixing well to combine.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
