This delicious casserole combines mackerel paste, anchovy fillets, and a creamy sauce, offering a delightful experience for your summer dining table.

Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tbsp margarine or butter for greasing
- 4 egg yolks
- Chives to taste
- 2 dl vegetable broth (from a cube)
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 dl (light) cream
- 1 pack of anchovy fillets
- 100 g mackerel paste
- 2 packs of potato and onion mixture
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions:
1. Grease a baking dish with margarine or butter.
2. Empty the contents of the first pack into the dish evenly.
3. Pipe the mackerel paste into a smooth layer over the first layer.
4. Add the second pack of potato and onion mixture on top of the mackerel paste.
5. In a bowl, mix together the vegetable broth, egg yolks, cream, and black pepper.
6. Pour the mixture over the potato and onion layer in the dish.
7. Place the anchovy fillets on top and sprinkle with chives.
8. Mix the breadcrumbs and sprinkle them over the top.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 25-30 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
