Delicious and moist savarini dessert featuring berries and caramel sauce. Perfect for summer celebrations!

Ingredients:

- Savarini Cake Base:
- ½ cup milk
- 10 g fresh yeast
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ tsp salt
- 4 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
- 100 g melted butter
- Caramel Sauce:
- 2 cups cream
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- Soaking Syrup: (choose one option)
- 1. 1.1 cups water, 3 cups apple, orange, or white grape juice, juice of 1 lemon, 1 ½ cups sugar
- 2. 2.3 cups water, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 cups sugar, 1 cup rum, punch, or kirsch
- 3. 3.2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, 3 cups cider or white/rosé wine
- Additionally:
- Berries and/or fruits
- 2 cups whipped cream
- Butter or baking spray for greasing the pan
- Breadcrumbs or coconut flakes for dusting the pan

Instructions:

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Add eggs, sugar, lemon zest, cardamom, and salt. Mix well.
2. Add the flour and melted butter. Stir until a smooth, soft batter forms.
3. Grease and dust a bundt cake pan.
4. Pour the batter into the pan and let it rise covered with plastic wrap for about an hour in a warm place.
5. Bake on the lower rack of the oven at 175 °C (350 °F) for about 30 minutes. The cake is done when it pulls away slightly from the edges.
6. Let the cake cool for a moment in the pan before removing it.
7. Prepare the soaking syrup according to your chosen recipe.
8. Slice the cake into three layers.
9. Generously soak each layer with the syrup.
10. To make the caramel sauce, combine cream, brown sugar, and vanilla sugar in a saucepan and simmer on low heat for about 20-30 minutes.
11. Invert the cake and separate the layers. Place the bottom layer on a serving platter, drizzle with caramel sauce, add whipped cream, and top with berries.
12. Repeat for each layer, drizzling the remaining caramel sauce over the top. Garnish with additional berries.
13. Serve immediately.
