Light and delicious, these cabbage rolls are the perfect summer dish, quickly prepared on a flat pan. The fresh flavor of young cabbage brings a summery feel to every bite. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 head young cabbage- 400 g minced meat (such as beef or pork)
- 1 dl rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 dl fresh herbs (e.g. parsley or dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
- 1 dl vegetable broth (optional)
- Lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.2. Heat the oil in a flat pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the minced meat to the pan and cook until browned.
4. Stir in the cooked rice and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Remove the leaves from the young cabbage and fill each leaf with the meat mixture.
6. Roll the leaves tightly into rolls and place them in the pan.
7. Pour vegetable broth or water into the pan and cover with a lid. Cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
8. Serve with lemon juice for extra flavor, if desired.
