A delicious and filling pasta carbonara that's perfect for weeknight dinners. Preparation time is just 30 minutes and serves four.

Ingredients:
- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 3 eggs
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, heat a skillet and add the bacon or pancetta. Cook until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for one more minute.
4. In a bowl, crack the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Once the pasta is ready, drain it and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
6. Toss the pasta with the bacon and garlic in the skillet. Remove the skillet from heat.
7. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and mix quickly. Add reserved cooking water as needed for a creamy sauce.
8. Serve immediately with fresh parsley if desired.
