Ingredients
- 1 kg lamb shoulder or neck, cut into pieces - 2-3 onions
- 2 red bell peppers
Sauce:
- 3 tsp cardamom
- 3 tsp curry powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 dl water
Instructions
1. Peel and chop the onions. Dice the red bell peppers. 2. Brown the lamb pieces in a large pot over high heat.
3. Add the onions and bell peppers to the pot and sauté for a few minutes.
4. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour them over the meat and vegetables.
5. Add the water and stir well.
6. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
7. Serve the stew warm with rice or bread.
