A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring shrimp, mussels, and cream. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 200 ml olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 fish stock cube
- 500 g cooked blue mussels
- 500 g peeled jumbo shrimp
- 500 g squid spaghetti (or regular pasta)
- 500 ml inexpensive white wine
- 100 ml cream
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Trout roe
- Fresh chili
- Fresh basil
Instructions:
1. Thaw the peeled shrimp and cooked mussels according to package instructions.
2. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil in a large pan until soft.
3. Add the diced tomatoes and the fish stock cube, mixing well.
4. Pour the white wine into the pan and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes until the alcohol evaporates.
5. Add the cream and the thawed shrimp and mussels to the pan. Stir and heat until the shrimp are warm.
6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain.
7. Combine the pasta with the sauce and mix well.
8. Serve the dish with grated Parmesan cheese, trout roe, fresh chili, and basil on top.
