A delicious pasta dish featuring sweet caramelized onions and a hint of chili for added warmth.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1-2 chili peppers (to taste)
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (for serving)
- Fresh thyme (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water, then drain.
2. Slice the onions thinly and finely chop the chilies.
3. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and sauté for about 10 minutes until they are soft.
5. Sprinkle the sugar over the onions and continue to cook until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
6. Add the chopped chilies and vegetable broth to the skillet, stir well, and let simmer for a few minutes.
7. Toss the cooked pasta into the onion and chili mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh thyme on top.
