Ingredients:

- 6-8 apples (e.g., Granny Smith)
- 1 cup Indian sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:

1. Peel and slice the apples.
2. In a bowl, mix the apple slices with Indian sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar.
3. Pour the apples into the pie crust and spread them evenly.
4. Melt the butter in a pan, add the cream and bring to a boil. Pour the mixture over the apples.
5. Cover the pie with another pie crust and brush the top with the egg.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving, and serve with caramel sauce if desired.
