Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Sift the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt into the batter. Gently fold to combine.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the surface is set but the center is slightly soft.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream.
