Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons capers - 1 shallot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 bell peppers (various colors)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Remove the stem from the bell peppers and discard the seeds. 2. Slice the bell peppers into long, thin strips.
3. Peel and finely chop the shallot and garlic cloves.
4. Sauté the chopped shallot and garlic in olive oil in a frying pan until they are soft.
5. Add the bell pepper strips to the pan and cook for a few more minutes until the peppers soften slightly.
6. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the capers, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
