A delicious chocolate cake perfect for celebrations or coffee breaks, filled with soft cream cheese and peaches for a refreshing touch. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10-12 pieces
Ingredients
- 3 eggs - 1.5 dl sugar
- 0.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 0.5 dl potato flour
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
Filling:
- 1 package cream cheese, plain
- 1 dl whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 can peaches in syrup
- Turkish pepper and Marianna crumbs for decoration
- Chopped almonds
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). 2. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
3. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, potato flour, cocoa powder, baking powder) and sift them into the egg mixture.
4. Gently fold the batter until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is cooked through. Let it cool.
7. Prepare the filling by whipping together the cream cheese, whipping cream, vanilla sugar, and sugar in a bowl.
8. Slice the cooled cake in half and spread the filling on one half.
9. Add sliced peaches on top and close the cake with the other half.
10. Decorate the cake with Turkish pepper and Marianna crumbs, and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
