A delicious chanterelle pie perfect for a cozy meal.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g chanterelles
- 1 packet (270 g) ready-made pie crust
- 1 onion
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 3 eggs
- 100 g cheese (e.g., Emmental or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
2. Add the cleaned and chopped chanterelles to the pan and cook until the moisture evaporates.
3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
4. In a bowl, mix together the cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
5. Spread the chanterelle mixture over the crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
6. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the pie.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
