Creamy Spinach Pasta

Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve some of the cooking water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute, until soft and fragrant.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
4. Pour in the cream and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with fresh basil on top if desired.
