A delicious chicken pasta dish with a fresh tomato sauce and herbs. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 250 g tomato paste
- 250 g chicken strips
- 4 tsp margarine (60% fat)
- 1 piece of light fresh bread
- 1 dl bell pepper, chopped
- 1 dl fresh basil, chopped
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 8 leaves of lettuce
- salad greens
- garlic cloves, to taste
- green beans, chopped
- 0.25 tsp black pepper, ground
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
2. Heat the margarine in a pan and add the chicken strips. Cook until they are fully cooked.
3. Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
4. Add the chopped bell pepper, basil, and green beans. Let simmer for a few minutes.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce mixture.
6. Serve with salad and fresh bread.
7. Garnish the dish with fresh garlic cloves and lettuce leaves.
