A delicious pasta dish featuring honey-marinated chicken strips infused with taco spices. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp taco spice mix
- 650 g honey-marinated chicken strips
- 2½ dl pasta cooking water (about 5 ladles)
- Water
- 5 tbsp ketchup
- ½ - 1 tsp black and white pepper
- ½ beef bouillon cube
- 400 g macaroni
- Oil
- ½ dl lemon juice
- Salt
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt for the pasta.
2. In a skillet, brown the chicken strips in a splash of oil.
3. Add garlic powder and taco spice mix to the chicken, stirring well to combine.
4. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, saving some cooking water.
5. In the skillet, add ketchup, black and white pepper, the beef bouillon cube, and 2½ dl of pasta cooking water. Mix well.
6. Combine the cooked macaroni with the chicken mixture, stirring to combine thoroughly.
7. Add lemon juice and adjust salt to taste if necessary.
8. Serve hot.
