Delicious chicken burgers with crispy panko coating and tasty toppings. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 6 burgers
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken minute steaks - 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- Salt
- White pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Cooking oil for frying
- 6 large hamburger buns
- Mayonnaise
- Blue Band Hawaii Pineapple & Curry Sweet Sauce
- Iceberg lettuce
- 6 slices of pineapple
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Place the all-purpose flour on a plate. 2. Crack the eggs into a separate plate and whisk them with a fork.
3. On a third plate, place the panko breadcrumbs and season with salt, white pepper, and cayenne pepper.
4. Dip each chicken steak first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
5. Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan and fry the breaded steaks on both sides until golden brown.
6. Grill the hamburger buns over low heat.
7. Grill the chicken steaks until heated through and give the pineapple slices color on both sides.
8. Assemble the burgers: spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun, add iceberg lettuce, a chicken steak, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a slice of pineapple.
9. Spread Pineapple & Curry Sweet Sauce on the top half of the bun and press it down onto the burger.
10. Enjoy immediately!
