A delicious sauce that combines onions, bacon, spinach, and mushrooms, perfect for pasta or rice. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 green onions
- 1 package of bacon
- 1/2 bag of frozen spinach
- 1 package of frozen chanterelle mushrooms
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the green onions.
2. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
3. Add olive oil to the pan and sauté the chopped onions for a few minutes.
4. Add the frozen spinach and frozen chanterelle mushrooms to the pan. Mix and cook until the mushrooms are thawed and the liquid has evaporated.
5. Pour in the cream and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the cooked bacon back into the sauce and stir.
7. Serve the sauce over pasta or rice.
