Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar - 6 gelatin sheets
- 2 eggs
- 1 ¼ cups heavy cream
- 5.3 oz dark chocolate
- ¾ cup brewed coffee
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes. 2. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or over low heat in a saucepan.
3. Pour the brewed coffee into the melted chocolate, ensuring the coffee is strong.
4. Squeeze the excess water from the gelatin sheets and add them to the chocolate-coffee mixture. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
6. Gently fold the egg mixture into the chocolate-coffee mixture.
7. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
8. Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or one large dish.
9. Allow the mousse to set in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until fully firm.
