Ingredients

Crust:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g cottage cheese
Filling:
- 500 g cabbage, shredded
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 300 ml beef broth
- Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pot and add the shredded cabbage. Sauté for a few minutes.
2. Pour in the beef broth and simmer until the cabbage is tender. Season with salt as needed.
3. Prepare the crust by mixing together the butter, flour, and cottage cheese until combined. Roll the dough into two sheets.
4. Spread the cooled cabbage filling on top of the bottom dough sheet and place the top sheet over it. Fold the edges to seal.
5. Brush the surface with beaten egg and prick with a fork.
6. Bake at 225°C (437°F) for about 25 minutes or until the surface is beautifully golden brown.
