A delicious and quick pasta dish perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions. Preparation time: 30 minutes. Serves: 4.Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Meanwhile, slice the mushrooms, garlic, and onion.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit of reserved cooking water.
7. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
