A delicious summer dish made with early cabbage and ground beef, perfect as a side with potatoes. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 small early cabbages
- 400 g ground beef
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 1 dl syrup
- 1 dl strong beef broth
- 1 large onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- Spices: marjoram, white pepper, salt
Instructions:
1. Chop the early cabbages and onion.
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan.
3. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
4. Add the ground beef and brown it thoroughly.
5. Stir in the chopped early cabbage and mix well.
6. Pour in the heavy cream, syrup, and beef broth. Season with marjoram, white pepper, and salt.
7. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
8. Serve the cabbage casserole with potatoes.
