A delicious and hearty casserole made with cabbage and bacon, perfect for a comforting meal.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 small cabbage
- 200 g bacon
- 2 dl cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 dl grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or gouda)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Dice the bacon.
2. Heat butter in a pan and add the bacon. Fry until crispy.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the bacon and sauté until soft.
4. Cut the cabbage into strips and add it to the pan. Cook until the cabbage is tender.
5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
6. Transfer the cabbage-bacon mixture to a baking dish and pour the cream over it.
7. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the dish.
8. Bake in a 200°C (392°F) oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.
9. Let it cool for a moment before serving. Enjoy!
