A delicious and hearty cabbage and minced meat stew, perfect for family dinners. This easy-to-make dish is a great way to enjoy cabbage in a flavorful way.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 750 g ground pork and beef
- 2 onions
- 1/2 white cabbage
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 dl jalapeños
- 1 tsp dried chili
- 1 can herb-seasoned mushrooms
- Spices (salt, pepper, herbs)
- 1 vegetable bouillon cube
- 2 dl water
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onions.
2. Heat a pan and brown the ground meat. Add the onions and continue cooking until they are soft.
3. Chop the cabbage and add it to the pan. Mix well.
4. Add the tomato paste, jalapeños, dried chili, and mushrooms. Stir all ingredients together.
5. Add the vegetable bouillon cube and water. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, until the cabbage is tender. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.
6. Serve hot with potatoes or rice.
