Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g crushed digestive biscuits
- 100 g melted butter
- 300 g cream cheese
- 200 g grated cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 2 dl cream
- 3 eggs
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried herbs (e.g., basil or oregano)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, mix the crushed digestive biscuits and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
3. In another bowl, whisk the cream cheese, cream, and eggs until smooth.
4. Add the grated cheese, milk, salt, black pepper, and dried herbs. Mix well.
5. Pour the cheese mixture over the biscuit base.
6. Bake the pie in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until it is golden brown and set.
7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Cut into slices and enjoy.
