- Dough: - 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (200g) container sour cream (or plain yogurt)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Filling:
- Minced garlic, to taste
- Drizzle of oil (e.g., 50/50 olive oil and sunflower oil)
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Parsley (fresh or dried)
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)
Instructions:
1. Measure the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and baking powder) into a bowl and mix well. 2. Add the sour cream and mix until the dough forms a smooth ball. Add more flour if necessary, but the dough should remain soft.
3. Press the dough into a round baking dish (e.g., 8x8 inches).
4. Prepare the filling: mix the minced garlic with the oil and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
5. Spread the garlic mixture over the dough. Sprinkle parsley and mozzarella on top.
6. Bake the bread at 440°F (220°C) for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
