A creamy and super healthy sauce perfect for filling tortillas or drizzling over nachos. Nutritional yeast gives this sauce a delicious cheesy flavor. Adjust the consistency with water and season to your liking. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: About 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl sunflower seeds
- 1 dl sesame seeds
- 1 dl nutritional yeast flakes
- 1.5 dl water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Quality salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Place the sunflower seeds and sesame seeds in a blender and blend until they are ground, but not too fine.
2. Add the nutritional yeast, water, and olive oil to the blender. Blend the mixture until smooth.
3. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper according to your taste.
4. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator. The sauce will thicken in the fridge, so you may want to mix in a little water before serving.
