Ingredients:
- 500 g beef
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 potatoes
- 3 carrots
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 l beef broth
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef into cubes and brown it in oil in a large pot.
2. Chop the onion and garlic, add them to the pot, and sauté for a moment.
3. Peel and chop the potatoes, carrots, and celery. Add the vegetables to the pot.
4. Pour the beef broth into the pot and season with thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
5. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is tender.
6. Serve the stew warm, preferably with fresh bread.
