A soothing and warming drink made with turmeric and ginger, perfect for boosting immunity and fighting off colds. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 2 dl milk (or plant-based alternative)- 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp honey
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat, but do not let it boil.2. Add the grated turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon (if using).
3. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the drink into a glass.
5. Add honey and stir until fully dissolved.
6. Enjoy warm as a cold-fighting beverage!
