Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the softened butter and mix until the mixture resembles crumbs.
4. Pour in the buttermilk and stir quickly until the dough comes together.
5. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
