A refreshing cherry sangria perfect for summer gatherings. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh cherries
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- A few sprigs of thyme
- 75 cl white wine
- 75 cl lemon soda
- 200-300 ml clear spirits (like vodka or gin)
- Ice
Instructions:
1. Halve the cherries and remove the pits.
2. Place the cherry halves, cinnamon sticks, and thyme sprigs into a pitcher or punch bowl.
3. Pour in the white wine, lemon soda, and clear spirits.
4. Allow the mixture to infuse in the refrigerator for a few hours.
5. Before serving, add plenty of ice to the pitcher or bowl.
