A delicious and quick pasta dish featuring a creamy garlic sauce and sautéed mushrooms.

Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the skillet with the creamy mushroom sauce until well coated.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
